We are passionate about great music, so we work with Recording Artists, Songwriters, Record Producers, and Recording and Mix Engineers. We help guide and advise our clients on all aspects of their careers. We take care of our client's business including creative matters, right through to contractual matters and business affairs.

Our team has years of experience and a vast amount of knowledge within the music industry. We work with all the major and independent music companies, brands and music services worldwide. Our key personnel have worked with artists like Usher, Shola Ama, Snow Patrol, Soul 11 Soul, Beyonce, Ne Yo and so many more. While our record producers and songwriters have written and produced songs for stars and an array of recording artists worldwide. We have run independent record labels, and we have our own publishing company with global admin by Peer Music worldwide.

1 2 One was established in the late 80s. Paul set about promoting club events in London and running the North London sound system “First Impressions”. A keen record collector, DJ and music lover, Paul moved into management, working with producers and recording artists his first Do'reen of Soul 11 Soul, who sang "Feel Free" and Happiness on The Hit Album Club Classics Vol 1. Then came R&B singer Cortney Buchanan, who Paul got signed to MCA in a groundbreaking deal. In 1995, Paul became the Managing Director of the independent Record label Freakstreet Records, which was partnered with clients D-Influence Productions who Paul also managed as producers and songwriters.
Freakstreet Records signed the likes of Shola Ama, Elisabeth Troy, Sean Escoffery and Shortee Blitz & Ty, to name just a few. The label released several EP’s, Singles and Albums and held live events. Freakstreet was named the 3rd most popular record label in 1998 next to 1: Bad Boy Records and 2: La Face Records in the Blues & Soul readers poll.
In the late 90’s Freakstreet Records entered into a major deal with Warner Music for Shola Ama who Paul also managed to global stardom. Shola gained a Brit Award for Best Female for her multi million selling debut album and two MOBO awards for Best Newcomer and Best R&B Act.
With four hit singles from her debut album, Much Love Shola Ama toured the world extensively and picked up multiple awards worldwide. 2 years later, Following a split with Paul, he left his position as MD of Freakstreet Records, and the label closed down one year later.
Moving to LA to work with producers and songwriters for a year, Paul returned to the UK to join Big Life Music and Management as A&R Manager. At Big Life Paul worked with songwriters, producers and recording artists for seven years, setting up and managing Big Life Music's partners worldwide. Paul helped drive the publishing company to the number 1 position in the UK for independent music publishers for 2006-2007.
After the sale of Big Life Music to Universal Music, Paul left, and 1-2-One was reestablished and has grown rapidly into a one-stop service for labels and recording artists worldwide. For more information please contact Paul via email: ☛ paul@12one.net
